That's what killed my first cat Raichu in September 2003... A car... Still can't get over that...
Try taking a 4 year old anywhere in a town that has a shitty transit system.
All you'll know about cars is that they can kill if you're an idiot, that it requires gas and insurance, and that it saves you a fuckton of time getting from Point A to Point B.

And thus, another unbalanced trade with Gypsy has come into fruition.

I'm fortunate to have a car to call my own. I should've thanked my old man while I had the chance had I known he was planning on giving it to me.

Probably a couple tiny things of DLC. Not much else.

My current car is a '97 Lumina. It's been reliable as hell -- it was a grad present from my parents, who bought it from a used lot in '98 with maybe 5K kms on it. I got it in '06 and have driven it to death -- she always performs. But it's at the point now where I'm going to have to pour about $1.5K into fixing all the little things that are wrong with it, and I would much rather just buy a new vehicle and start from scratch.

I have $2.1K in savings right now and three paycheques this month, and there's really nothing in the $2-$2.5K range that interests me that wouldn't require the same amount of work as what I would have to put into my Lumina. That's why I'm kind of excited about this Jeep. It would also be nice to drive something that doesn't look like your grandmother's ride.
