DAFUQ?!
I THOUGHT THE PONY FIASCO HAD DIED OFF!
Gtg.
I like Apple Jack, cause she's country. Pinkie Pie because she flipped out and was crazy. Princess Celestia, because she doesn't care. The ponies destroyed her castle, and she didn't care.
Gave two of our four boys a bath the other day....old beagle needs one...
I just did. I ... I don't know when this was drawn, but I'd guess either around or after middle school. During middle school I was not very happy and sometimes writing or drawing dark ideas helped cheer me up (as strangely as that sounds). During high school I had a somewhat bleak sense of humor and the world. College... I'm better. I'm more happy more often, still have my moments... but I'm good.
I shall repeat what I did before: MLP:FiM is the kind of show I wanted growing up but never got. It's good, it's funny, it's well animated (and not creepy looking) and not a sugar pastel saccharine rainbow kill-me-now-it's-too-sweet show. I can't say the same for all the other fans, but that's why I watch it. Was hesitant at first due to memories of bulky burly quasi-realistically drawn Everything-Is-Pastels My Little Pony shows, but I tried it (mostly to get my friend to shut up and leave me alone about Ponies) and fell in love.
It's not Samurai Jack. As much as I liked that show, it was sometimes too much with the violence. It's not geared towards guys although, just like the guy-oriented cartoons having female fans, there are male fans for the girl-show. Most guy-shows have token girls (if any) and sometimes all the girls shown are evil. If they're not evil, the girls are stupid or obsessed with their appearance. I just wanted a show that I would like and wasn't over the top or underdone, with good characters, good plots, and good animation. The humor, the villains, and the voice acting is all gravy.
I grew up with the 1980's My Little Pony. I was hesitant about this one, but it's well done and it's smart and funny without talking down to it's audience. BTW, the biggest fans of My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic is teenage boys and 20 year old guys.
Applejack is awesome, but she's a little too bullheaded for me. I like honest as much as the next person, but she's just...too blunt.
Pinkie rocks but the whole her going insane struck a little too close to what could had happened with me for my tastes.
Princess Celestia is awesome, but I think she's rather sad. A thousand years of repetition and everyone dying around you... There's a reason why I'd never want to be immortal. Also, I think it's more because Celestia has lived for so long that she sees things in long term more than short. "The castle is wrecked. Oh well, that just means I can get the construction workers something to do. Besides, it could had been broken worse by an earthquake or a dragon. At least nopony got hurt."
I do agree with what you said though.
I'm better! I really am. That's why sometimes I find things that disturb me even though it was clearly my hand that wrote/drew it.
More like the loudest.
