Besides, I personally think that God is more like a father. An actual father. He's giving us distance and not taking active roles in our lives because he wants humanity to grow up. He's still there if we falter but we need to come to terms with what our problems are and how to fix them ourselves. I don't remember my priest ever saying things like that, but I did remember this one whole thing about "God is everywhere" and I blurted out "even in naughty places?" and he said yes. I remember that because I thought it was funny/gross that God was in toilets and trashcans.
I shal skim through this.
1.) Humans will always use any means to convey their ideals, it just so happens the Bible has some things that shouldn't be crossed. (I.E. Ten Commandments.)
2.) I hope no one was raised into "If you do such and such, you're burning forever" kinda of a back lash to a person's personality if you delve into it.
3.)

I think I heard something along these lines before.........but I don't feel like saying useless stuff, so I'll keep it to myself.

When I asked that question, I had a ruler to the hand
