If you feel like punishing yourself with more Uwe Boll, check out Rampage (2009).

But like I said, these aren't horror.
    And pretty meh tbh

Only good horror is cheesy cult horror imo.

Not much happens in The Devil's Rock really, but if you haven't watched it at least it may be something you could try

Published in the 1800's and it really isn't difficult to read dude.
I would've easily been younger than you are when I got my copy of it.

It shouldn't be too difficult to find this in a second hand bookshop somewhere

Another book you may possibly want to check out is The White Company by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I read that around the same time I read Ivanhoe.

Still got both books, older hardcover editions.
Most likely he has to read all three of them for school, but doesn't want to wade through the literary styles of the time. To which I say, "If you're not going to read it, then fail the class with pride." Or Cliffsnotes. But meh, teachers generally read the Cliffsnotes and the Sparknotes for the book, just so they can catch students who only offer insight based on what's in those rather than the book itself. Same with the movie versions.

I think I fell asleep watching it

Rampage is probably the only Uwe Boll movie that I ever found watchable really

Watch Iron Sky if you haven't already dude.
It's not horror, but it's worth watching for a low budget flick.
    DVDrip is out there already.

I've watched quite a few Uwe Boll flicks (well, tried to at least) and they make you appreciate other "bad" movies

    Wiki quote time:
When rumors surfaced that Boll had expressed interest in a Metal Gear Solid movie, and claimed to have been given a script to read, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima responded in his audioblog HIDECHAN, "Absolutely not! I don't know why Uwe Boll is even talking about this kind of thing. We've never talked to him. It's impossible that we'd ever do a movie with him." Boll later stated that he only thought he was doing the film because he was tricked by someone named Scithe who claimed to work for Konami.

Boll also made a bid to direct the upcoming World of Warcraft movie, but was turned away by the owners of the Warcraft franchise, Blizzard Entertainment who said: "We will not sell the movie rights, not to you…especially not to you." Boll responded "Because it’s such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it."

There was a queue at the post office. Yeah, pensioners queueing outside the fucking post office as the queue was spilling outside.

Now I have to go to the local post office where I'm hated.
