Organise a day trip for the family, and makes some calls in advance to get some prices.
Then you play stores off against each other with the prices.
When you said you don't have a car did you mean your entire family?
i don't think any of the local stores can match a price like this on either, but ima try.
i like to stay home when they go out, gives me anime time and less performance anxiety when recording or writing.
we have two cars, one of them works, and we use it regularly, the other is a pet project me and my dad are working on. it's a Geo Metro and it can get north of 50MPG if we can get the damn thing to work right. the way my dad is, he buys and sells family cars every few years or so, the Volvo we have now might not last till next year (meaning he might sell it), and he might get a DeLorean (now THERE'S a happy thought!) anybody heard of "Stacker?"
