My parents were usually up by 8 at the latest. They've never been the "sleep in" kind, unfortunately. I used to watch VR Troopers, then Muppet Babies, then Super Mario, then play video games, then eat, then back to video games. I would usually get up early and eat some cereal right away while watching WCW or some cartoons. Then I'd play vids until 9am or sometimes even later. My parents and little sister liked to sleep in late.
I had a varied childhood. The only difference was what games we would play. If it was winter sometimes we would go tobogganing.
I was hoping to head down to a flea market this summer, but I haven't had a Saturday off in a while where I could actually go, and it doesn't look like I'll get one before the end of summer.
