Okay my problem is this, I can get all the way to the main menu in game and them once i try to start a new game the screen stays black and nothing happens. Any ideas? I'm trying to run the copy that I downloaded from the emuparadise site if that makes a difference.

Are you trying to run the game via ISO or CD-Plugin?

My hunch is to try setting the Renderer to one that says (software). In all cases, changing one or two settings at a time is best. You can fix it yourself, and then you can tell us how.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Compat list shows it works though no info as to how to get it working...

before giving up on the image though try using the CD-Plugin and have the image mounted with D-Tools Lite (Daemon Tools), make sure the cd-plugin is looking at the correct drive leter for the D-Tools drive

you can also scan the image with isobuster to see if it realy does have sector issues (it's called a surface scan if I remember corectly) [if there are no errors I can only guess that there are issues with the iso plugin, so go for the CD/DVD plugin instead], free version is enough to do that, you need to pay for the repair options but to be honest if there are errors you are beter off just getting another copy of the game as the repair feature kinda sucks in most cases

personly I do not emulate that system myself so my help can only realy be mostly regarding the image file

EDIT: as for emulation in general though, mounting a CD or DVD image gets better results than using an ISO "CD/DVD image file" directly in an emulator
