I specifically bought a PS2 with a broken disc drive from ebay because it was cheaper and because I didn't intend to use it. :'D HDD is king anyway. Faster loading times + no mucking around with discs = ! Open PS2 Loader works with most PS2 games now, too. The only title I really like that isn't playable now is Shadow Hearts 2.

it helps to watch a lot of TV. EMERGENCY! (google it) introduced me to medical science, and i can go get a few of my paramedic textbooks to quote from if you like.

Yeah, uh, TV has nothing to do with medical science. At all. Watching medical shows no more prepares you to be a doctor than playing Fifa prepares you for playing in the world cup. Actually, Fifa can at least introduce you to the basic rules. Half those doctors on TV do things that are either incorrect or outright wrong. Which says nothing of the ones who are actively BREAKING THE LAW by doing something that's bound to wind up in being blacklisted and getting a whole host of malpractice suits.

Protip: Quantum mechanics is stupid as shit. The people most responsible for quantum mechanical theories? Most of them were openly ridiculing how stupid quantum mechanical theory is. Schrodinger's Cat for instance. Also, no one understands QM. The few bits of QM that are actually sensible and have an actual influence or importance are very poorly understood. The books on them are being rewritten all the time. Especially now with the LHC operational.

i do chemistry and magnetism. mainly, i like to blow things up and try to make a perpetual motion sickness machine to make people i don't like sick.

They kinda invented that already though. I guess that chemistry training didn't introduce you to a little something I like to call C2H2SH. Shit's awesome. Which is why we use it in propane tanks. But only a few small droplets. A sizable dose of that stuff? It'll knock you out cold through sheer stink factor.

I know, right? I soooo want to replay it, as I only ever played it once way back when it first came out, but I gave away my PAL copy, I don't have any DVDs to burn a downloaded one, and it doesn't work from the HDD. Will buy a copy when I'm in Japan, probably.
