Just hate the way that Nintendo is going about this. I rather not see a fan base which is really strong and consistent stabbed in the back over graphical capabilities.

Well if Skyrim on Xbox 360 is going to be like Oblivion is (Fallout 3 and New Vegas are the same)....the DLC's will be DRM free (hopefully).
You just pirate them and use them on retail consoles, there aren't any issues

As for consoles with better gfx, I usually wait until a console has been around for a while and gets cheaper.
I haven't had my 360 all that long really.

I had my 360 since it came out, then when the slim first came out, my friend got one and ended up selling it to me 2 months later for $100 since he quit playing video games all together

what the people who get owned call gimmicks at first are really innovations. nintendo goes for innovations. N64 controller, DS touchscreen, Wii motion control, 3DS stereo 3D, Wii U controller(s) all revolutionary and all very good and all called gimmicks by people who were locked in for the other companies.
