    Goodbye.

I liked ray parodying feminists groups, then again I like any posts which go against feminists.

Since a very young age I've identified as a feminist and supported the cause of feminism wherever I could. But... like... real feminism. As in believing that women are capable of largely the same things as men, speaking out against sexism where you see it, and trying to change the inequalities that still exist against women in our society. Not proclaiming women as a master race, spewing all kinds of misandric bile demonising men, and pushing to make women just as superior to men in society as men used to be to women because apparently two wrongs very much make a right. :/

Not many feminists I have encountered are actually egalitarian.

Yeah, the word has almost come to have a dirty meaning nowadays because of some of the more extreme people out there. :/

The ridiculous thing is that their actions are actually hurting the struggle for women's rights. Early arguments against women having the vote basically said that they were too emotional and not capable of rational thought. Women worked for years to expel those stereotypes and prove themselves intellectual equals to men. So what do radical feminists do? Act like creatures who are... er... too emotional and not capable of rational thought, and give those who are genuinely sexist the perfect tool with which to discredit feminism entirely. One hundred or more years of amazing work by amazing people discredited because of the crazy words and actions of a group of bitter, ugly people whose ideology would probably make most real feminists cringe.

Yes, in case you can't tell, radical feminists are not my favourite people on the planet. :'D

    Good morning EP. (yawn)

Grocery day today....maybe hit a few fleas as well...

Elin - "Radical" ANYthing is usually the wrong way to go, imho. I suppose that I am a 'feminist', always have leaned that way. I have also always believed that males, typically of the caucasoid and right-leaning variety, ARE helping to ruin our world at a FAST clip. However, 'EXTREME' levels of feminism can be as toxic as war-mongering, racism, homophobia, 'religious' ignorance, and worse foolishness. Too much more to say here...not the place for it....moving on to happier things.....
That banner you have running along the bottom there....always warms the heart.
