Yeah. There are a couple pawn shops here were any Gamecube game is $2. Usually they don't see in anything interesting but whenever you find anything of value it's a really sweet deal. Got Tales of Symphonia last week and did a quick flip.

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find good deals on video games these days. You will always have the garage/yard sale people who just want the stuff out of their house but it feels more and more like people think their stuff is even more valuable than it actually is. Awhile back I was at a garage sale and I can't remember what system it was but the person was like, "it's sells for such and such on ebay". I politely told him to sell it on e-bay then. Long story short I've been broadening my horizons lately. Magic cards, rare dvds, anime sets and power tools. Been looking into pokemon and ygo cards as well and trying to find a site with a good buylist. Any really valuable Magic cards I will just sell to cardkingdom and then I bulk out the rest. With stuff like the rare dvds and anime sets you can even make good money by getting them from local used stores that have fixed pricing on dvds. Usually $6 is shit for a single dvd movie but when it's some stupid cult movie that goes for $100+ online then it's pretty swag.
We think a lot alike, man. I sell/trade/buy like MAD. Although I'm all about a fat profit, I am a passionate fan, as well. For example, we have a beautiful dvd collection, and my GBA collection has been budding for years. Even though I can emulate GBA/GB games, there is something comforting about having them in hard-copy...Zeldas, Marios, Metroids, Castlevanias; all masterworks on the little GBA, and all living happily in a clear plastic tote in my top drawer.

I have GC games that command the highest prices, but my wife relishes that system, even more than the PS2 and the DS. If I were to sell those games I might wake up one morning sans a teste...heh...
We have GC games that top-out at $40 and better on E-Bay, yet we paid no more than $5 for any one of 'em...

Yeah, I'll look into these Magic cards...I mean, what the hell, if they are cheap enough, I'll just learn to play...have wanted to anyhow...deck building and whatnot..

Poke cards? Oy....those things LIVE on Craigslist here....cheap, too..

I dunno the first thing about 'em, man. Well, my younger ex-brother-in-law was a CHAMP at one time, but his willpower wore thin when trying to teach me, heh. I just wasnt getting it...

This kid, though, used to go to various tournaments and actually win cash prizes and 'rare' cards and whatnot...go figure, eh?

I collect a bit myself too. This is mostly up to date (haven't bothered with listing my GBA games), I don't bother with individual movies because the listing system gives me carpal tunnel. I also don't list many of my books for the same reason.

As you will see mainly Dreamcast but also some odds and ends.

Used to have quite a few games with decent value but I got the SD Media Launcher and sold them off.

You can play Magic for free online. cockatrice.de

Yeah I just started looking into Pokemon. Mainly because you can get them for so cheap in most cases so it's something that would be all profit.

Yeah there is good money in being good at Magic. I got out of the competitive scene around 2-3 years ago and I just play online now.

My former b-i-l was a champ about 10+ years ago....he has since gone off to college and is doing who knows what now..

I'll check those links, Gypsy. Always cool seeing collections. As for dvds, we have many hundreds...these days, though, we usually just grab something from Torrentz and toss it out when we are done.

This kid said something about $50 or less for 'thousands' of cards, so, I guess we shall see.... I'll be sure to post pics HERE or somewhere when/if I grab the cards. You guys can help me determine the 'rares'/goods from the craps...

Yeah movies eat up space. I try not to keep that many.

I'd probably give you more than that depending on the cards. I'd need pics though.

I'm so glad I got these for original retail, damn scalpers.

    http://www.amazon.com/Hyperdimension...nsion+neptunia
    http://www.amazon.com/Atelier-Meruru...ywords=atelier

Don't believe the list price btw. Someone had Amazon make the listing. The real original retail was $65 but both had to be ordered directly from NISA's online store.

There were only 1,000 copies, it's bound to go up.
