Could you link me to that, please? (I'm asking because I was simply wondering if it works with certain JP-only visual novels I might want to play. It'd make reading them a million times less time-consuming.)

I don't know if it'll work with the specific ones you want to play, but it was actually designed for visual novels (the fact that it works with Sora no Kiseki appears to be more coincidence than anything else~), so chances that it will are fairly good.

Oh, and the utility used to dump the text to Firefox for use with Rikaichan was something external to the main program. I don't remember the name right now, but you can probably find a tutorial on how to set it up with Google.
