Yep, popped up at a bad time.
Maybe I will just sit here, and play the banjo, or something.

    The first Shin Megami Tensei.
Combines certain Friday the 13th game elements with Turn based combat, and I SHOULD have looked up a video first.
    Oh yeah, also labyrinths.
Regardless, trying the sequels next to see if there's one that I would enjoy playing.

Yeah first was NES right? I haven't played anything in the series from before 1995 or so.

SNES, unless there's another one with a different name on NES.
And yes, I will keep blind diving into them, until I find one that pleases me.

I'm already researching all the used games stores in Okayama. It's a smaller, less visited area, and sometimes those can be best for finding bargains. The ones in Hamamatsu, where my brother lived, had some awesome stuff that never would have sat on the shelves for long in Tokyo.

SNES was the first time a game in the series was released with the "Shin" prefix, but the first game in the Megami Tensei series as a whole was indeed on the NES.
