Forward at moment of impact for regular hits and projectiles and down for low sweeps, but......
360 D-Pad and frantic mindset = no parry for U
I need to invest in a hitbox soon

There's a good way to practice that, and possibly punish poke attempts.
Try to time HCF moves as to make the forward input match time of strike, then proceed with the move.
Medium level parry.
I do that with Alex as well, but in his case, it's HCB.
