Dad: I love you too.
Me: Dad, I want you to know that I want to take care of you.
Dad: You need to take care of yourself.
Me: I just know that as you get older you should be comfortable, and this upstairs room in summer heat is not comfortable. But you do have this ceiling fan.
Dad: I forgot that was there.
Me: It probably won't help much, but at least it is stylish.
Dad: We need to find out if it's better to suck or blow the hot air.
Me: You can change the direction?
Dad: There's a switch.
