I have another psp-1001 that has stock firmware and a working memory card port. I'd just have to make a pandora battery and downgrade it to 5.00 so I can install M33 CFW. I just don't want to go through the effort.

I'd almost rather take apart the one good one and swap the ports.

Although this was my first PSP-1001, and I bought it when they were fairly brand new. It's roughly about 6 years old. It was the one I used for all my iRshell testing through the years. So I've probably inserted and ejected a memory in this particular PSP tens of thousands of times.

Out of nowhere I suddenly get the urge to play my PSP. After not playing it in over a year or so. I plug it in, turn it on. Put in a memory card, nothing, doesn't detect it. I try a few more times, and nothing. Damn memory card port is dead now.

There wouldn't be any dust in the slot. The PSP has a removable cover protecting the slot from dust. As well as having it inside a hard case the whole time.



I still blew into it anyway, it didn't work.
