A Cockatrice is a two-legged rooster-headed dragon monster born from a chicken egg hatched by a snake or toad. It has death/stone vision.
A Basilisk is like that, but a snake/toad egg hatched by a chicken which results in a giant snake that moves like a cartoon worm.
