I was at an anime anime con and there was guy with a full metal alchemist shirt on that had one of the characters head's stretched by this guys fat stomach.

Nah, but at my old high school before i got home schooled there was a group of super anime people who were also super furrys, to the point the school had to ban the wearing of tails. Not even joking.

If it's merely tails, ears, and a handful of animal traits it's exempt from furry classification.
