Default sick of going through this trouble to post comments on a website

if i want to post a comment on something on a website, be it EP or anywhere else i do NOT want to be required to register to another freaking website first. (can't even comment here on some pages without registeing to that disqus website first)

its a complete waste of time, if i'm gonna post a comment on a website i should only have to register to that 1 website if its even needed at all, not 2-6 other websites that are unrelated.

thats why i wasted my time getting a facebook account which i never even touch, just so i could post comments on other sites. (and if anyone could tell me how to delete a facebook account i would be grateful as it seems deactivating one is a stupid temp deactivation until you relogin, not a delete)

i'm getting sick of this stupidity. for an example at a good comment system take a peek at the one used on stories at http://www.fimfiction.net no need to register elsewhere just to comment, you just do it and hit submit and thats it. no need to register on any number of different websites (i really hate this "register at so and so website first to comment" trend)

One of those should do the trick. I hear you on the other stuff. Registering at a site to leave a comment on a single article is a pain, you end up taking more time to register than you do typing out your comment.

Make sure you don't log on after you delete it, they take two weeks to actually delete the account.

two weeks? lame, but at least i can be rid of it and stop leaving my real name where i comment using that account. i suspect that may be partly the source of my junk mail as i've been getting loads more in recent months than i ever used to, i've never gotten junk mail until a couple months ago when ads and other trash began floating through

edit: there, deletion pending, now i may be able to find some other way of commenting and this time NOT using my irl name (if i do register to another of those idiotic "register to comment" websites it'll be with false information if it asks for my real name and ends up giving no option for a username like i use here on the forums)

I know how you feel but I have my own method to deal with this kind of situation.
I just need to make an extra email account (since most registration require a legit email and activation), and let's say; I want to comment on a forum that require a registration. All I do is simply register, put fake simple name and simple password such as "1234567" and put the extra email that you made. After that, just activate the account through the email and voila. Remember, don't use your main email, just make a new one. And if decided to leave the forum forever, you don't have to worry about anything else because everything is just a fake simple username and password. You can repeat the same action in other forum/site by using the same email account.

It helps to send all your fake e-mail info to your real e-mail account so you can keep track of them. I have at least 5 e-mail accounts that I have lost passwords for over the years.

And you can put fake info into Facebook. I know a girl with a second account that is simply her name spelled backward.

That's true. Hotmail doesn't give a dead rat's last poo, and Facebook will only take note if people report your second profile as a fake. If that does happen, FB will only slap you on the hands and start talking to you like a child: "Did you send friend requests to people you don't know? Only send requests to people you know. MMMM-kay?" I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically it. If a LOT of people report you as fake, your requesting privileges are temporarily revoked (30 days, I believe). No big deal... nobody will send the SWAT team to your house.

What I would do is make a new email as muscab suggested, and use that new email address to open a FB account. However, if you're going to have multiple "identities" online, keep a "login book" so you don't forget all your passwords. I use a palm-sized notebook that I bought for 50 cents at a dollar store... it has saved my sanity more than once.

Who still uses browsers that can't save multiple username/passwords for particular websites?

On that note tho you could always use a temporary email service to avoid spam in your "real" inbox, such as http://www.guerrillamail.com/.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

    ME. That's who.

I never have a browser save any sensitive info, such as a password. It's just safer that way. I "store" my passwords on paper, where hackers can't reach 'em. You can call me anything you like, but no account of mine has *ever* been hacked. It's a good feeling.

I agree with Rockstar. I NEVER save the info, because you never know what can happen. I rather be safe. Or maybe that's just our generation wanting to feel safe?

I personally think that you won't get hacked unless you make yourself noticeable in a way to hackers

but then again.... i don't save my passwords either

lol, well, some hackers still hack... anything and anyone. Luckily for us, hackers nowadays either want your credit card number (not access to your email), while the others are friendly hackers who hack government sites and the like to protest against the government and protect the citizens. Like the group Anonymous, which recently hacked the government of Quebec's websites (in order to protect the students in relation to the student protests).
