I've bought games on release from Japan that Play-Asia mark as being worth $10. Clearly they're gypping me.

Lots of Japanese E-bay sellers do it as well.

Damn, that's a lot for shipping. Guess it is pretty heavy.

I can remember being blown away by them when I first saw one in the shop. I was used to the C64 and Spectrum at that time. The shop is long gone, but it's the only one I remember having a PC Engine and SAM Coupé. I bought my Jap Megadrive (a year before the UK release) for around £300.

I know. It's awesome. I had one who marked the real value, though, and I had to pay income tax. Was not amused.

What's the breaking point in Scotland?

Things from Japan to America that are 200USD or less are not taxed.

So my brother just got up to get some food and started talking to me. I pointed at my headphones and said use msn.

First time I encountered anything before release was Silent Hill. We had it on copy (US version) before it was released in the UK. That was pretty bad ass.

Who remembers getting a list of games from someone, and telling them what you wanted and having to wait for the copies to turn up? Those were the days!

It's worryingly low here, unfortunately. :/ Can't remember how low, but low~

I know that feeling. It didn't take me any time at all to get used to my brother being gone after he moved out, because we spoke more on MSN than in real life anyway.

Yeah. The guy I used to get them from used to have people turning up at his house at all hours of the day and night. His missus must have hated it.

My dad used to talk about it a lot. I remember it blew my mind years later when I realised it was based off the same Chinese classic as Suikoden.

I think it's about £30 or may even be less. Pretty damn annoying.

Someone my Mam knew from work had a list with Crash 3 on. My Mam ordered me a copy cos I really wanted it and they gave us the original Crash Bandicoot. I was a very disappointed 8 year old.

The fighters hang out got closed

Does this mean the retro one in the hidden area has been closed too?

I'll admit im worried about this, Pre-Fighters hangout there was complaints about fighters talk as well as the boasting and trash talk that went along with it
