£35-40 for a used 500GB Western Digital SATA hard drive on eBay. I'm pretty OK with this to be fair. Although I remember in 2010 buying a 1TB Sata Samsung brand new for £48.

All I want now is a decent sized hard drive and the money being spent on my computer ends.

Well, I am planning on getting a 23" LED monitor, but that doesn't really count does it?

Just bought a 5 metre ethernet cable from eBay for £1.90, with free postage. How do some people even make a profit?

Probably buying it in massive bulk. Discounts start getting crazier and crazier when you order thousands of units.
