Default Need help downloading PS2 ISOs.

    Hi All,

I just encountered this amazing site ! And I am struggling to download PS2 games from the FTP server. Btw, Excellent selection, best on the web. Anywho, I'm running the latest Firefox, tried programs such as JDownloader, Flashget, SmartFTP, and Download Accelerator Plus. Still no luck as all of them fail to successfully initiate a download. I'm running Windows 7 SP1 Pro, if that is of any relevance.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Also using Symantic Endpoint Protection, Windows firewall, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Tried different browsers as well.

I'm also having trouble downloading the isos. When I tried to dowload Ridge Racer V the download apparently was succesful, but, the .7z file contains a .cue and a .bin file. I first convertedthe .cue to a .iso and tried to burn it in a DVD, but when I tried to run it in my PS2, it just doesn't works. Then, even disappointed, I thought: "Maybe it's just this title, I'll try another one." Then I tried the Tokyo Xtreme Racer – Drift 2 (yes, another racing game, because I was looking for a new racing game for my collection, and because I love racing games too) and today "succesfully" I downloaded the .7z file, but, when I tried to extract the .iso, the program says that the file is corrupt. Another disappointment. Can you look at the files to see what's wrong with them, please? Since now I thank you for your attention.

Bin files are a form of ISO, you can run thoes on the emulator, you dont need to convert them, and would you be able to redownload the tokyo extreme racer and then just extract the 7z file and see if it allows you to do so.

Not to step on anyones toes ... but ... the Bin files are 99% of the time a CD image ... therefore burn it to a cd and try then .... I am having the exact same issue as the original poster ... FTP downloads will not work in firefox or IE ... It firefox it states download starting and stays there for around 5 mins.. then stops the download around 15kb ( corrupted of course ) .. IE 9 usually asks for a username and password for the FTP ?? Everynow and then it starts the download only to have it stop and say interuppted....

    Anyone have any ideas ?

I'm having troubles getting parts 3, 5, 10, and 12 from this game:
    http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...-NTSC-Multi2-*
It's really frustrating because I have the other parts and plus you can only try to download a file once every hour. For those specific parts, when I try to download them, it starts at about 10 KBPS then drops and drops until it don't work anymore. It don't drop data, it just stops at about 6 KBPS and wont download anymore. I tried leaving it overnight, and it said connection timed out.
Can anyone try those parts for PaRappa The Rapper 2 and see if it works for them? It would be much appreciated as I really want this game. If it does work, could you maybe re-upload those parts? I tried on my laptop using Chrome, and IE9 and my desktop IE8 and Firefox. No go. :c I don't think it's the computer, it's just the where the file is on the server where it's not working.
If someone could please please help me it would mean a lot to me. c:

Snappy the trouble you are having is with Linkin ... it has nothing to do with the problems being discussed in this thread ?????? Maybe start another thread ... or wait for someone to answer the post in the original thread you asked the question in

I was trying to see if other people were having the same problem or maybe they could help me. I wasn't trying to spam or whatnot.

Has anyone tried the ones I listed ? Maybe I can work from there ?

OK ... I maybe onto to something here ... got World Tour Soccer 2002 to start .. disabled Avast ... apparently it blocks FTP transactions ?? I also noticed in firefox that the addy the FTP was coming from was different ... it was 90.~.~.~ ..... now it was 100.~.~.~ ... or something to that effect .... I'll keep you posted

Nope .... not Avast .... Just one link finally works ... the others are still behaving like I previously stated

Alright .. so it works from work ... the only difference I see is that I get the " Captcha " options here at work .. not at home ??? Any idea why ?
