Aww. After I asked I realized that i read in your blog that you have a son. Three's a cute age, I bet he's a cutie. It sounds like he's a smart kid if he can play a game that well.

He's not great at it, but he's better than I was at that age. It's pretty much his favourite thing to do when he comes over -- either Super Mario 3 or Super Mario World, or watch me play a game. He can beat the first couple of levels by himself, and he usually does the Hammer Bros. and all of the item/matching minigames. And he's decent at beating the minibosses in the castles along the way, he just has trouble getting to them.

And he fucking loves Frog Mario. I don't know why.

He is pretty freakin' adorable. And he does like frogs. I'm thinking about either doing some LEGO art or a painting on his bedroom wall of Frog Mario. Not entirely sure which one I'm going to do yet.

Some kids can be devil spawn. Dallas has been pretty good, though. For the most part. He had his "terrible" phase for a few months, and it was hell, but he grew out of it very quickly. He's a fairly even-tempered kid nowadays. Still gets rather stubborn sometimes, though, but I come to expect that.

I want to do the painting, if I can set it up right, but then when I move I'll have to repaint the wall and all of that work will be undone. If I do the LEGO art, then at least it's mobile. But I would have to spend more money on it (probably around $60 for the size I'm thinking). So I'm still deciding.

Yeah, my cousins kids are definitely demon spawn. If you spend more than an hour with them, you won't want to have kids. I think most little kids are stubborn. Does he get his stubborness from you perhaps?

The paint is easy enough to get rid of. I have a feeling that when he moves away from Mario, he'll probably move away from having lavender walls as well.

Parents make a pretty big difference, but depending on the age some of their ill-temper can be a result of many, many things, not just the way the parents raised them.
