It's actually pretty sweet

After a long day of arguing with Verizon (who "suddenly" decided I couldn't have an upgrade after I paid my bill ) I went to Sprint and bought 2 iPhones for the wife and myself, and got a free Motorola Xprt Android for my son. Sold them my Xperia Play for $80, and the wife's phone for $15. Got true unlimited data (Verizon's "unlimited data" is really 2GB) and unlimited minutes/texts for all 3 phones for $159 less a month than I was paying Verizon.

Total out of pocket at Sprint: $129.

Fuck Verizon. They will never see another cent from me.

What pissed me off about Verizon is they kept telling me I could get an upgrade, and sent me links to look at phones. As soon as I was all paid in full on my bill, a requirement for an upgrade, everything changed...even the My Verizon app on my phone. Everything went to "upgrade on 8/8/12".
