Is bullying a big problem in your town? Where I live several kids have committed suicide within a week of each other. I think it's sad when kids feel this is the only solution. I also feel sad that their lives were cut short because of someone else's b.s.

It's your own fault if you commit suicide.

    That's a bit harsh.

OK Seriously, it is a problem, but you must face the facts, not everyone is cut out for handling abuse, so the only solution is to make it go away on way (suicide) or the other (homicide). Unless you're a man or woman who can handle the BS fools throw and sling it right back at them.

Yeah, I can see that. But there has to be a way to make it better. I know that kids are mean, and that's how it is. You have to admit the problem has gotten worse just over the past ten years. Neither way is a good solution, but some kids don't have a support system at home, so they have to deal with it themselves. I don't know what the solution is, but something has to happen because the problem is getting worse, instead of better.

I honestly don't really know anymore, I grew up (why'd I say that?) only throwing fists after fists to keep bullies in check. Nowadays this can never come back, instead of a brawl to settle differences, they pull guns, form mobs, and join gangs to keep a petty argument squashed (their way). Oh well, I'll just have to teach my kids how to fight in the future (knowing when to fight or run).

It doesn't help that if the victim does stand up for themselves in a physical manner they will be told they have done wrong for doing so.

It is true it is the fault of the victim to commit suicide, but it is mainly a problem with society and the person's genetic makeup. Certain types of people are more inclined to behave a certain way and those kind don't belong in our method of society. Case in point, the hyper emotional people who will kill or kill themselves at the drop of a hat. They weren't meant to be with other people. Mainly meant to be hermits or isolated in one form, or another. Yet, they are forced to conform and since our education system doesn't teach genetics or behavioral patterns, a lot of people are doomed from day one. It's a great reminder of how much knowledge equals power.
