    EVERYBODY'S GETTING OLD.

    Which is depressing. Very depressing.

    I had dreams, dammit.
    I wish I was 18 again.

I've decided I'm going to pick up flute as soon as I can afford a flute, with a view to joining a community orchestra in my early thirties.

/never too late to dream new dreams~

Act super immature, spend time with college girls.

It's the closest thing to a fountain of youth I've ever found.

(It doesn't work for more than a year or two. )

This. Most of my university friends just turned 20. I sometimes forget I'm not 20 as well. :'D

I demand tickets to this event. Why, I may very well pick up the violin just to sneak into the orchestra for a chance of joining in.

If we ever meet up, I'll totally play piano for you, at very least. :'D

I want to learn violin at some point too, but I think I might need instruction on that one, as it's not a very forgiving instrument for beginners, and I've never played an instrument with a bow before.

In any case, largely self-teaching myself Japanese and piano as an adult over the last however many years has taught me that it's never too late to learn something new, and that you can pretty much do anything with time and effort. The trouble is that whole "time" thing, being that I won't have much of it when I graduate. So I'm going to try and cram in as much as I can while I'm still in education~ I wasted lots of years when I was younger, so I'm not going to waste any more.

And I'll....rhythmically tap on a desk. Or something similar. I IS SO TALENTED.

And that's depressing me. Perhaps I can play bagpipes or something. It's not like anyone would notice if I was terrible.

I have considered the bag myself. There was a gentlemen who played each morning down at the bay next to my house. I no longer live there and would most definitely be pummeled to death if I played them in my college town...

This may be one of the most accurate images in the internet.

Until the break at least. Then it just screws up.

    Still not bad though.

You play guitar a little though, right? And if you've got the dexterity to knock out huge combos on fighting games and Rock Band, you can easily turn that to an instrument. I don't know how good or bad your ear for music is, but provided you're not completely tone deaf, there's no reason you can't be quite competent. :3

I feel like such a failure of a Scottish person for hating the bagpipes as much as I do. Well... I don't mind them. But only if they're part of a Celtic ensemble. Solo bagpipes is like nails on a blackboard. And I should know. I have to hear them every single time I go to the high street.

You don't agree with Tyrion, Robert, and Hodor? I know Daenaerys is kinda off, but everything else seems pretty accurate.
