When that somebody loses, that somebody has to ponder on why he lost, and improve that/those aspects that caused so.
And what I meant, doesn't exactly apply just for games, I was generally speaking.
But since it's games we are talking...
For example, when I play fighting games online, fun is one of the reasons I enjoy playing them, another is improving any weak point I might have, and seeing results of practice coming to fruition by winning.
Losing sometimes, is just part of improving.
*ramble*
Anyway, I fully understand your point of view.

Yeah, King. That's kinda what I said. I'll do my best, and if I did enough I'll winIf not, I keep training. Just winning ain't the most important.
But it depends on situation.
As I said, I'm very competitive, I try avoiding this at game, hahahahahah. Like, I was very good on some tournaments, always won... here were I live. That's good. But if I lose, whatever... I didn't come JUST to win. I wanna learn, have fun.

Gaming wise, only tournament I won, was a regional Counter Strike one. (Nowadays, I'm 40% at full potential at FPS games.)
Have yet to actually participate in a fighting game one, which is pretty much the games I play the best.(SF x T one doesn't count, lost due a stupid reason not game related)
Non gaming, like I said a couple of days ago, gym kickboxing tournament twice.
So yeah, competition runs in my blood.![]()
