Same size as a netbook (11" LED screen), 1.65GHz AMD dual core, 8GB max ram, onboard Radeon HD 6320.

Don't know whether to buy a desktop and use my laptop in bed only.

Or to buy a netbook to use in bed, and leave my laptop at my desk and only use it during the day and stuff.

Or to buy another laptop and use this Acer as a doorstop.

If you want small size do some research and shop around.
Don't get a standard netbook that can only run 2GB ram max (and has 32 bit OS).

The one I mentioned is running 64 bit 7 with no probs.HD video no probs.
I suggest you look for an ultra-portable if you want that size.

Standard netbooks are ok if you get them for nothing, or as a school package, etc.
    But I wouldn't pay $200 for a new one.

Or go bigger if you want to

Hey, don't recommend him a netbook.
With netbooks the problems are that their processors are really slow.
    You can't play new games.
That's only for movies, music and browsing.
But if extra portability needed. go for it. At least it's faster if we put them in the ipad categery.

A netbook could be good, I'd like one with HDMI though if possible. It would mainly just be for use in bed/connecting to an LCD TV for internet browsing on a larger screen and shit.

Thanks for that, I used ebay.co.uk to order parts from before.

Also @skull I might salvage some parts from my current computer if I upgrade.

    IDK much about them.
What's the reason to buy new parts?
