    Hey, Windows 8 Consumer Preview. You are on a different partition, keep your nose out of my Win7 install. It's none of your f-ing business whether it's genuine or not

    I'm highley considering changing to windows 8 constumer preview but im afriad some sites/ emulators won't work

    It's definitely interesting, that's for sure. I tried it right after it came out, and was all and stopped even trying. I read an article in PC World, and became interested again. They have updates for some apps in the Store now, so more of them work.

    The easiest way to try it is to create a new partition on your hard drive. That way you don't lose your current install.

    I most likley will update then im tired of vista and would like 8 more than 7 just because i find it runs faster and i can use either interface

    i take it that any windows 98/2000/XP games will be a no go

    Sort of...the Win8 regular desktop lacks a Start button.
    At least I haven't found one yet.

    Maybe but this laptop is only 250 gb . So i don't know if i would rather try that or not. I know the features my big conserns are emulators bit torrent clients VLC media player and if my wireless card would be supported

    Might be worth trying some out before committing to win 8, if they don't that will make alot of older and current games unplayable for alot of people.

    I doubt there are many things that will be supported yet. Before you can even download the ISO, it gives you a report of programs you currently have on the computer that will not work.
