Just today I had to wake up that early, needed to sort out paperwork with MEPS (Enlistment and Recruitment center) in Troy, MI.
Usually, I've heard around 5 A.M. boot camp wakes up.....so I love it (I wake up at 6 A.M.)

I have heard horror stories out there, heat strokes, dehydration, the works. I guess I am getting the better draw this go round.
One of my mentors is an active Marine now, so I hear from him whenever he does something cool or something like P.I.(Paris Island and yes I am lazy)
nearly destroying all mindsets that walk in that place.
Cussing is as natural as breathing to Drill instructors.

Yeah, it's pretty bad during the summer, but that's just the nature of the beast, it doesn't matter where you go, you're going to be outside doing physically taxing things, so it's going to suck regardless.

You may have gotten lucky on that account, but all that mean is that you'll be at AIT during the winter. Not as bad, but still pretty shitty.
