Honestly though, I can't think of much that needs that kind of power these days. In your case you might though if you're doing some hefty compiling

I'm not sure if it a problem with my computer because my computer meets the recommended requirements, but just about. The game crashes far too often and there is a fix which supposedly fixes the game but if there was a sale on steam I might just pick it up there.
