If you want the honest truth, I've been working and taking care of my disabled mom. I love my job and don't mind putting my mom up since she raised me without any complaints, but I'm being laid off soon. In fact, next Friday is my last day. It's been pretty rough on me the nearer I get to the end, and I've started drinking in the last few weeks just to get through that shit somewhat sane. They're leaving me with a decent severance package and I plan on collecting unemployment. I also managed to save enough money to get me through the next few months as well. Still though, it's not easy putting your life into a job and then being told that you're no longer needed.

Heh, I liked the dude. I just remember when he and Nimagraven or whatever her name was hooked up and suddenly he was really interested in getting my personal information. They hooked up after I turned her down on chat one night, and after enduring tons of psychotic private-messages from her in the weeks after that incident, it just seemed weird to me that he suddenly wanted to know who I was. He always maintained that it was a trust thing, but the timing was strange to me. Why the sudden interest in my real name when it had never mattered before the inception of that relationship?

My life is far from bad, it's just been complicated. I have a feeling that as this door closes for me, an infinite number of doors are opening. I really feel like I could do anything now, so for as much as a bummer as my impending unemployment is, I'm alright man. Yeah, I'm having a bit of a rough time dealing with it, but this too shall pass. I've got a world of opportunity ahead of me.
