Eh, I can kind of understand it, it's easier to buy a console and just rock that for an entire generation rather than worrying about building/upgrading or even buying a PC for gaming, even though it's really not that big a deal. Also I guess some of the more mainstream devs aren't exactly known for their gratuitous PC selections.

Though I haven't had an actual desktop in probably ten or so years, so I don't actually know.

thats basically why I stopped with pc gaming when I bought my notebook. having to upgrade with every new(or just about every new) release is costly and a pain.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on PC gaming, I would totally build a rig and see what this new-fangled "Steam" thing is all about , but I have neither the time, resources, or the patience to do so. I don't think either is better than the other per say, it's just kind of easier to buy a console and be done with it.

I bought most of my rig a while back and its still going strong, my Graphics card is like 3 Generations back and still playing games on High
