Is it non-extradition? More importantly, does the local government care about piracy ?

thumperbunnyeve~If Purchase does not entail ownership, then sharing shouldn't mean piracy.

I really should...still, for now I'll just do some experiments on these dead 360s.

Yeah, heatgun, flux, thermal paste, etc. Not a professional setup for sure, but it's something. Need to just clean out the garage and make a work space for myself. Might actually do it sometime later today.

The only thing about reflowing is it's usually only a somewhat temporary fix. Most systems die again in a couple weeks to a month. Now it could be that I don't have my heatgun settings setup right. It's just the results I've gotten in the past.

The 360 I sent in to Microsoft is still kicking and it's been over a year now. Sorry for asking about modding my PS3 and not going through with it, it's too expensive at the moment .

The cost of shipping and a flasher would push $100. It would be closer to $200 if I could get my hands on an E3 flasher, which is what I'd prefer.

Yeah, my latest RROD 360 lasted me about 5+ years.

Don't worry about it man, no big deal. Whenever you feel like it just let me know.

You can do quite a lot with that equipment, for soldering i personally use a heat gun and a 30 watt variable temp soldering iron which does most jobs quite well, the reflowing might work better if you add solider to the joint unless you do that already.
