ME2, Borderlands and Fallout 3 DLC's were pretty good.

Granted, I got ME2 DLC on a sale and basically stole the Fallout 3 and Borderlands one from a GOTY disc, but still.

Seriously, the Gears vets may hate on 3 all they want, but I hardly come across that problem now, and that was quite common in 1 and 2. I like Gears, but needing a 10MB+ ISP to be able to win was fucking stupid.

Charging for extra muliplayer maps for a shooter is a racket. You can get dozens of maps for UT3 and it won't cost a penny.

DLC is good when it adds a fair amount of content well after the release.

DLC is Capcom's dream though. Make a fighter. Have half the roster be $5 a character DLC. I see this happening at some point.

From what I understand Totalbiscuits complaints are that the DLC was not released with the main game when it was worked on at the same time and could have just been added to the main game but Bioware are just trying to get more money out.

If they had worked on the DLC after the release date and sold it then that would be fine.

I understand that but the fact that it comes with the CE makes me feel like they wanted to include more content, alot of developers do that and then dont release the dlc to the public for a few weeks.

I didn't knew anything about Mass Effect until I noticed it one day at Blockbuster, had a few days off and rented that and Dead Rising, because I wanted a fun game (DR) and another to test it out.

Guess which game got returned the same day and which one was played to the hell and back before immediately buying after returning it?

I had dead rising 2 for awhile, never even finished it. One great big meh from me.

I wanted to get it for the PC with a coupon Gare gave me, but either it's dead or filled with hacked rooms as well. :/

And getting a full room in RSV2 was a goddamned miracle.
