I played some of the side missions yesterday.

Yes, very much so, I'll write something in the recently beaten games thread about it soon.

I will probably lend it to a friend of mine who lent me many many games over the years soon, then perhaps find somebody on EP to keep the trading going.

    *approach some guy by behind
    *blast the fucking gnasher
    *nothing
    *blast the fucker again
*nothing, and the guy snipes another dude while I'm shooting him
*he turns his back and chainsaws me while I'm still blasting him with the shotgun

Seriously, the Gears vets may hate on 3 all they want, but I hardly come across that problem now, and that was quite common in 1 and 2. I like Gears, but needing a 10MB+ ISP to be able to win was fucking stupid.

I think ME is one of the most polarizing games ever.

It's either "Hey, I really like Mass Effect, it's a fun game, man. " or "HOW FUCKING STUPID ARE YOU TO LIKE SUCH AN ABORTION? MY GOD, YOU'RE A CANCER TO GAMING, BROSHOOTERS ARE RUINING THE INDUSTRY, MASS EFFECT SHOULD HAVE SHODDY GUNPLAY BECAUSE IT'S A RPG, MY GOD!"

And then there are the fucking weirdos at the Bioware forums, but we're not counting these.

Basically, Bioware is milking every cent they can out of ME3 with dodgy DLC practices.
I liked that Kotaku "YOU NEED TO SPEND $800 TO BUY ALL THE ME3 DLC!" post.

Because yeah, you're not buying the overpriced Razer mouse or the keyboard that comes with a code that can be redeemed to get a weapon that you can acquire if you're well, playing the game, you're buying DLC.

As for the other DLC, I'll wait for a sale. I never get DLC at full price anyway.

I wish EP could build more of a presence with trading games, it seems like the right place to have a thing like that. Rather than having to work with the asses on adverts. Glad you enjoyed the game anyway.

People are giving out about DLC for ME3? Wut? There is only two things available, and the actual dlc up is free with the collectors edition so cant really complain about making it available on day 1 for standard buyers, am I missing something?

Well for trading to the US the delivery cost offsets any cheap prices you might get on any second hand games. Adverts is just more handy for you and me.

Are people on adverts really that bad?

Well, they cannot seem to grasp that DLC costs money now and that they have the option to not support the game entirely and not buy anything of it and thus, vote with their wallets.

But no, they demand Bioware to make that free because "shit, they had to buy that fucking ME3 piece of shit".

Its only like 3 euro to send to the states first class though, not to bad like, but yeah it is handier for us. You are right though, its not worth wading through the idiots alot of the time.

Everything should be free, because we deserve it. This includes all media. Game designers, musicians, film makers and the like merely exist to appease us!
