The website says my local store has a copy

Did you ask for it specifically the last time you went? They hide games behind the counter sometimes.

Yeah, I've asked a few times, actually. I've even tried to rent it from the video place, but they don't even stock it. I've hit every store in the area that sells and/or rents games. Nothing.

There was a deal online a few weeks back...could have got it for $15, but by the time I got off work, they were sold out. Can't remember where it was, but getting deals pushed to my phone is useless when I'm at work

I've been looking for Catherine for the 360. At this point I'm considering buying it new, but I can't find that either.
    You're in the wrong country.
There's heaps of copies of it sitting around in shops here......it's like nobody wants it

Import Dan and keep him as a manservant.
He can buy stuff like games for you while you're at work.

So a co-worker of my dad's asked me to look at a netbook (HP Mini 210) of his that was having problems. It was connecting to the internet just fine, but none of the browsers would start when ran. I scanned for malware, updated Win7, updated some drivers, nothing fixed the problem. Finally last week he said he was fed up with screwing with it and said I could keep it.

Fast-forward about a week later. I find a program that will allow me to convert Windows installation disc images to a bootable USB flash drive. I try for hours to get it to work correctly. I get consistent BSODs with XP, and with Win7 Ultimate i get some missing files error. Finally I say fuck it and run a repair through the Win7 install setup from the USB. It finds the original installation of Win7 Starter, repairs it, and now all of the browsers work perfectly fine. 0_o

Tenacity pays off with a nice free working netbook.

Many recent HP notebooks/netbooks have issues installing 7 via any method afaik.
I got my niece a HP ultraportable (not a netbook.....it's a Pavillion dm1-4108au, AMD version) recently, it had 64bit 7 Home Premium on it.
I removed the single 2GB stick of ram and installed two 4GB sticks
Then I installed Ultimate on it instead, using the HP product key that came with it.

Dunno about XP, but I haven't had problems installing it on a few HP's that are like 4-6 years old

Good score for you though dude......can't go wrong with freebies

    Overdrive.
    Eh?

Does that go away if your activity drops, or am I marked for life now?

Yeah, currently looking online at some of the upgrades you can do to the HP Mini 210-1010NR. You can upgrade it with a Broadcom Hardware Decoder, for HD video. The LCD screen can be upgraded to the HP Mini HD's WXGA (1366X768) screen. Last, you can upgrade the wireless G adapter to an Intel 5100 Wireless-N card. First off though, I'm going to spend less than $30 to upgrade the RAM from 1GB to 2GB.

Might have to pimp this little bastard out.

    Soundwave tomorrow.

Time for my yearly dose of boozing and socially-acceptable brawling.
