I thought the first one was quite linear to begin with, not that I'm complaining about linearity in a game, in dead space it was fine for me.

It happens even when I like a game, I just put it down for a while and never go near it again.

Even with PC games? I always plow through PC games.

Well in the original Dead Space you could kind of wander around a bit. In Dead Space 2 you run forward and shoot things until the end. That's about it.

Have you not noticed how little I've been using it as of late? The only reason I kept it when I cleared out everything (games-wise) was Uncharted 3.

And once I had played that.... No exclusives, online service sucks, no one talks anyway. Controller is horrible. Mandatory installs.

Kinda curious about this one as well. Maybe once my ratio on BG improves a bit more than I'll try it out. Although watching the demo it looks to be mostly a glorified QTE game as opposed to an actual third-person beat 'em up/ hack 'n slash.

I do have to kind of agree with the mandatory installs gripe though. Although If the install is a particularly long one (MAG for instance). I'll just play something else on a different system for a bit while I wait for it to install. Personally I would love to have a legit PS3 again. These damn broken ones don't stay fixed long enough for my taste.
