You really think they wouldn't be lobbing sticks/rocks at each other if they didn't have guns? You think they wouldn't be fighting over sustainable farmland or decent hunting grounds without globalization? Which says nothing of the fact that Africa isn't new to the civil war game. Like all continents, really. People always find an excuse to wage war. And they'll always locate tools to allow for that. Only real difference is we'd be talking about iron mines right now.
