Currently a couple of episodes into Hourou Musuko / Wandering Son. I read a volume or two of the manga forever ago and quickly dropped it because it cut far too close to the bone. I avoided the anime 'til now for the same reason, but a friend insisted I watch it. And... yeaaaaah, every episode so far has made me cry. :'D Not sure if I can continue, as nice a show as it is.

I watched the first DVD of Polyphonica over the last week. I had seen it on Anime Network and loved it so much that I bought it. Very beautiful and lighthearted.

Watched a number of shows these past 3-4 weeks, mostly nothing serious. The ones that come to mind:

Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai (liked this one quite a bit despite not being anything special); Kore wa Zombie desu ka?; Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon and Redline (movie).

It's a decent watch, though probably not something I'll watch again anytime soon.

I'll admit, though, the necromancer chick was seriously adorable.

Seitokai Yakuindomo. Oh dear, this show is like the ultimate guilty pleasure.

    Spoiler warning:

Yeah, that about sums it up.

Gonna check out the English dub of Chrome Shelled Regios later today. Bought it a little over a week ago.

I immediately got a copy of that once I found out about it but got distracted by Valkyria Chronicles and then forgot about it. I'll have to rectify this.
