It's not, but because you're taking the heatsink off (to put the CPU from one board into another) it'd be best to replace the thermal paste on the CPU.
All you have to do is clean it off, make sure the CPU and heatsink are nice and shiny. Put a peasize amount in the centre of the CPU, put the heatsink on and voila.
There's a mod type... thing... out there that allows you to use mouse and keyboard. Like, you can actually aim with the mouse and look up and down instead of left and right. They retextured all of the sprites as well, but I think (hope) there's a way to turn that off. All you need is the original WAD files and you're good to go. If I remember right, it was called jDoom.
I remember using it back in the day. The retextures were, quite honestly, terrible, but it was fun to play around with.
Hey, I'm playing the stuff I'm buying.
Except Battlefield 3, The Witcher and Assassin's Creed.
Me and my brother loved those games, along with FIFA, Soldier of Fortune and Ground Control, brother and I were somewhat PC gamers back in the day.
Really? I thought it needed more stuff to apply or something. Plus it's cheap, I don't know why I thought it was really expensive.![]()
Some notes are:
NEVER use any oil or petroleum-based cleaners (WD-40, citrus based grease removers, etc) to clean the surfaces.do NOT use your finger to apply or smooth the compound.Try to minimise any twisting or lateral sliding.![]()
I used WD-40 to clean the CPU and heatsink in the tower I have. Woops.
