Rather have my slim RGH'd than have a Falcon JTAG that was probably gonna RRoD at any minute.

I've never had a falcon RRoD. Only xenons. Several of them.

I had a Falcon, bought it new. E74 in 8 months. Unreliable heap of shit. I had Xenons that lasted way longer than that.

I still have a launch day xenon running fine. Although maybe because it hasn't been used for a couple of years

I'll stick with my 250GB slim. The matte black one...no fingerprints.
The little "ding" sound for the DVD drive is much quieter on the matte black ones. The shiny one's "ding" could be heard through the whole house.

I sold my Xenon back in December. It was an April '06 unit.

You open/close your disk tray from the console?

Didn't know there was a matte one. My shiny one is now being used by my little brother back in England. He's probably fed it with toast and crisps by now. Oh well.

One thing that does feel out dated about the Xbox is no way to return to the dashboard without powering it down/back up, or ejecting the disc to return.

WHY CAN'T I HIT THE GUIDE, GO BACK TO THE DASH AND CHOOSE ANOTHER GAME?

It's all the way across the room on the entertainment center for the 73" HDTV. I have to get up to change discs.

I have the matte 4GB 360 as well. With a 250GB HDD shoved deep inside of it.

I caught myself looking for the big X button more than once while playing The Godfather
