Pretty much, yeah.

Really the only reason I haven't played it in three days was because I was busy. Hung out with a couple of friends one evening after work, then I had my son overnight and all day yesterday, then I was babysitting my nephew until 2AM last night. I don't mind playing games with my son here, but there are certain games that just seem... inappropriate. Duke Nukem is one of them.

It's not bad. Definitely isn't the greatest game in the world, but I've played worse.

I also don't really enjoy "realistic" first person shooters. I think it's one of the reasons I never really got into Call of Duty or Battlefield or Metal of Honour. I've always appreciated games with a more fantastic plot. They usually get bumped a couple notches up in enjoyment level simply for that reason, whether they are actually good games or not.

Well, personally, I was looking for something that was very true to the original in terms of gameplay, and I really didn't get that. So I was rather disappointed :/
