Vintage is too fast, and to rigid for my taste. And too expensive, even with proxies.

Yeah, we are more or less playing casually. I have decks on a lot of different levels. I made a bunch of old standard and old extended stuff that I used to run.
Jund is tits in Modern, I love it but... Effing Martyr of Sands, weak against that shit. UW Martyr is pro vs Zoo too, making it the sex against the top 2 popular decks in the format. I'll be interested to see more early PTQ results to see what ends up winning. There are interesting match-ups all across the board.
Everyone and their dog is playing either Mono White or U/W Tempered Steel, the most common control deck is Mono Blue or U/W and sometimes U/R Illusions (with or without Delver) and Snapcaster Mage has been made to fit in almost every control deck possible. Also, Mono Black and U/B Infect are still fairly popular. And after Worlds, Wolf Run Ramp became very popular (and also very expensive).
A modified 3-color (U/B/R) Grixis Control archetype is the closest thing to a 5-color control.
And even after Innistrad, B/R vampires did not come back in any significant way... It makes me sad.

My gear:Spoiler warning:
Just got done with a fun casual 4 way ffa. Kokusho cleaned house.
I was running a Greater Good deck obvs.![]()
Hey! I have Sakura Tribe Elder and Loxodon Hierarch in there...Wrath playset ofc. One of my favourite old decks.![]()
He's a tank.
Been playing Faeries in Modern. I wish Bitterblossom was legal...
They would run the format. It's still a tier 1 deck w/o it. There are like 8 tier one modern decks though. It's wide open.
Somewhere around 9-10 tier 2 decks that could win a ptq given the right match-ups as well. Way better than Standard atm imo.
Edit: People mostly like the build I've been running on cockatrice. Been getting some compliments. Trust me when I say it's usually the other way around.
