It sucks that Megaupload got taken down, but from what I've heard, they weren't doing their due diligence to remove copyrighted materials, either. Again, just based on what I've read so far. We'll see how far it goes.

I always thought sites like Rapidshare and MU know that a good proportion of what's hosted on their servers is illegal so if they are too strict on deleting illegal content they will lose customers.
