Check an earlier post for my thoughts on that. I can't stand emulating PS1. When I play I do it on a PS1/2 console on a good SDTV.

I'm sure I could rig up some set-up and use a real controller on the PC any everything but it's not worth the trouble for me.

Edit: And yes, I also just like to buy games 90% of the time.

Yeah I end up purchasing most of my games, emulating it seems to cheapen the experience for me and most of the time I end up not even beating the game. Maybe because it doesn't give me that "I paid for it, I need to beat it" mentality. Who knows.

    Either way.

Texans are done. I'm only half-watching now unless it gets better.

My computer building project has hit a snag what with the motherboard going out of commission. Found a nice micro version that will be a better fit anyway. I have to remind myself that this is a learning experience, but I'm going into graphic tablet withdrawal waiting for my new art PC to work.

Yeah I agree. I actually stopped subscribing to Netflix for the same reason. I mean, Youtube had one of my favorite movies on recently. It didn't look perfect, but it was special to be able to watch it after so many years.

Netflix is undeniably awesome, but it's a lot like having tons of roms or iso's that are too easy to access with no real commitment.

Netflix or the public library. Tough call.

It had to stop; I was getting sucked in to these newer anime series. And a lot of them are so derivative and simple compared to the real old school ones I grew up with. bleh...had to let it go.

It's different for Netflix, I use it all the time, I guess that's just a matter of time invested, I can watch a 2 hour movie, 3 hours if I'm feeling frisky, but video games tend to be a bit of a protracted affair.

I haven't got into a new show in awhile. There are a couple I've been meaning to check out. Plus the new Yamato movies are going to be epic.

It had some cool stuff; I was getting into the Native American films they have.

    Space Battleship Yamato 2199.

Manly anime or manliest anime ever? Fist of the North Star is pretty manly too.

Edit: I have a list around here someone of ridiculous over-the-top manly anime.
