Aside from the bugs that make it generally unplayable it's a fun game.

@Aeolus: I think part of the problem is that they waited so long. I would have loved to have seen Parasite Eve III as a ps2 title. :/

Yeah it can be a bitch depending on what OS you're running. There are patches all over the place for it though, both official and fan made.

You should try out Quest for Glory 4 1/2 which is a fan made game, pretty funny.

anywho, still finishing up New Vegas and starting to make some progress in Uncharted 2.

Lots of fun. I don't usually enjoy racing games, but there's more than enough to do in that game to make it worthwhile.

One of the ones in Edinburgh. And yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. Expected to pay more like fifteen or twenty. It had a few scuffs on the casing, but it seems to be in perfect working order otherwise. I also got a free copy of Splinter Cell that the previous owner had left in the drive. And... er... a whole harddisk full of terrible music in playlists with names like "bangin choonz" and "pumpin beets".

If it's the original Splinter Cell and your console isn't modded you can use that game to softmod it.
But you probably know that I guess.

Thanks! Yep, Inferno told me earlier, and kindly offered to mail me the memory card thingy to do it with too. So it was nice to open the drive and see the game. Even if I'll... um... probably never play it. :'D Really just bought the console for a handful of exclusive games I always wanted to play, and to softmod it into a fun media center-y thing because the specs of my dear modded PS2 aren't really up to the task.

We also must do something about that dreadful dashboard. Black and neon green? That's so not me.

...I'm probably going to be the only XBox user in the world with a pink user interface. :'D
