Yeah brawl sucked on characters the game was really nice overall the story mode kinda got me confused on character selections i thought why are they their at that point?

Bosses are damn hard with the ppl they choose for you especially on intense mode, overall lame. I got bored of this game in a heartbeat!

I still need to get all the notices and im not willing to waste my life on one million brawls!

Lastly the tripping and the insane ledge grabs and millions of glitches make this my least favorite game in the series and too think i wanted this like no other thing in the world. *thumbs down*
Layin down enjoying the fun unleashing the power of the sun and capturing them all until I'm done.

    Pretty much this.

    I loved both Pikmin games.

    Oh I nearly forgot...

What I hate the most about Brawl is how I couldn't copy my file over once my first wii died. That's just baloney, Nintendo. The cast was good, not great, but they do give you a lot of choices.

I always felt the speed of the fighting was alot faster in melee. Brawl feels more of a chess style fighting to me (which i absolutely love as well).

That was a big flaw I found with most of the first party nintendo titles made. But it was rectified with Priiloader for me

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

Melee had more nuance to its fighting, while brawl is only at a single level. As you got better in Melee, you can work on more advanced techniques such as wave-dashing and short hopping. Brawl doesn't have advanced techniques that you can learn or make use of. As for slipping, it's just a random thing, right? I fought one brawl where I slipped literally every time I took a step for an entire minute (no banana peel, either).

The file thing was just on Brawl, I thought. I could copy my Galaxy files and others.

Posted this without reading too much of the topic. Most of the front page posts were pure haters anyway. Why is this site always full of haters?

Not 100% how true this is, but I've heard that he was supposed to be in the game. Capcom was supposed to make some MegaMan games for Nintendo exclusively in return, but they went and released a PSP game (Powered-Up/Maverick Hunter) and broke the deal, so out he went.

Hey, I was personally annoyed by Falco in Melee. But he's a lot different in Brawl, and Wolf IS actually a lot different from Fox and Falco...

Er, maybe not INSTEAD of Peach... There's no other character that plays like Peach, and some people do play her pretty well, so...

Lol, TONS of people play Ice Climbers, and are damn trolls at it, too. Just go into a few online matches, you'll find one.

Okay, that's crossing the line. As a personal Lucas player, I can say that they are 100% NOT the same. If I try to switch to Ness, I go down to being about 30% as effective as I am with Lucas. It's the little differences, like Ness' PK Fire goes down instead of forward, his special move, PK Flash, does more damage, but Lucas' PK Freeze encases the opponent in ice. It's mostly differences in Smash attacks. Lucas' Down and Up Smashes are BEAST.

Lucario is a very different character from Pokemon Trainer... Doesn't matter if he happens to be from the same series... And he's in instead of Mewtwo just because he's newer. It's the whole product placement thing. I personally think Lucario is much cooler, anyway. Jigglypuff? I tried playing Jigglypuff one time. I got as good as I'm ever gonna get, and I STILL never won. I agree, she must be destroyed. BUT, it's sort of a mainstay in the series, since it was usually always the first unlock people got in the original... Even if she is probably the most useless character in the game. Oh, and Pikachu is my sub. He's awesome.

All I can say is: I beat and LOVED both Pikmin games, and I've seen a lot of evidence that there might be a third one eventually (On the 3DS, I hope!). That being said, Olimar as a Brawl character? That's like putting Pheonix Wright in Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3. By the way, Olimar has one of the highest tiers out of all of the characters. That or he just got totally lucky and won every match in the long line of research I watched my own brother conduct on it (it's complicated... suffice it to say that if you know how to play him, he can be a contendah).

As for SSB4, if Sonic returns, I hope Tails is playable. I've always liked tails. (NO WAY! Buster The Fox likes TAIL!? I never thought he would like FOXES!) Sarcasm aside, I think Tails would be cool. Heck, even Shadow would be awesome. He was an assist trophy... So, I about about to say, "CAPTAIN FALCON FOR SSB4!!!!11!!!!!1!!!", but then I realized that his PWNFace AWESOMESAUCE FALCON PUNCHING MANLINESS is already in it. Long as we have Falcon, we need no more F-Zero characters. Satisfaction.

It was on multiple games actually. But Brawl has just as big an amount as advanced level moves that melee does. I just feel people don't take the time to look them over. Take the combo and juggle system from Melee, it was more easily done in Brawl but to max out the damage with it you had to perform just about all the moves for the characters. L-Cancel was more refined in Brawl as well.

By that logic there is no point to anymore MK, SF, Budokai Tenkaichi, or any other fighting game sequals, unless it drastically changes something, and let's be fair, how much can you change it and still have it be a fighting game.

I agree it didn't bring anything new, but the Subspace Emissary part brought us something old, a beat 'em up campaign. The last beat 'em ups I played were on consoles that are now several generations old. If future ssb feature a similar styled story mode, I will be getting it.

I can understand all characters to some extent, however Snake was a wtf moment for me.

    A proper storyline?

I won't say too much, because you people are very silly, but the game needs more retro characters. Pit and Ice Climbers were hilariously awesome additions (as well as Mr. Game-and-watch and Dr. Mario).

SSB also needs more Donkey Kong Jr. Oh, and the blue guy from legend of the seven stars, if Square feels like being nice and stuff.

    Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.
    Michael Ballack, trains in paddocks.
in his spare time, HE FARMS HADDOCKS!

you're right; I looked into it and found that there are some advanced techniques for brawl. I can do most of them, but it still feels slower than melee.

Except Mewtwo, all characters removed for Brawl were clones. The new characters were pretty sweet replacements, mainly Sonic, Ike and MetaKnight. There were still clones present, but they're a bit different. For example, Dr. Mario had some different specials, which doesn't matter because who uses specials with Mario besides his cape? Wolf ended up being an incredibly heavy character and this was used well to make him play very different than Fox or Falco, mainly with air combo strategies. Snake was also another great addition, lots of tricks and a lot of time to master.
