Just went and got a replacement license 'cause my wallet got stolen.

I look stoned out of my mind in the picture.

    Maybe because I was.

Nah, no trouble w/ other ripped games (including UC2), older ps3 games from disc or ps2 games. Gonna chalk it up to the rip.

    Oh shit.

Yeah, I read it but since I got home late last night (and hilarious events happened) I kinda forgot.

I shall get on it once I get back from the shops.

Unless I end up failing to succeed in my goals, in which case I'll probably wind up playing the fuck out of games and can totally spare a few minutes to check this shit out.

    Etc.

Oh, and incredibly absurd shit keeps popping up but everyone appears to be extremely nonchalant about it. How did we invent the iPod? We didn't. We just dug one up, figured out how it works, then repackaged and sold it. And a cast of characters you could fit in an average sized phone booth without difficulty. Quite similar to the work of a certain nihilistic writer. The historical story tackled a very interesting period of history from an unusual angle and managed to be shockingly historically accurate. Grinding aside it did a great job of things.

'course not everyone was able to understand it/find it and the plot got heavily casualized once Desmond hopped into the Mystery Machine.

Assassin's ZOINKS managed to make things a lot easier to find since they introduce a character (well, two) to spoon feed you a couple datalogs and some historical context. They made the whole black and grey morality thing a bit more blatant (good guys? Desmond we're assassins. We KILL PEOPLE FOR A LIVING.) and by pointing out that, well, hey, the templars might be planning to use the apple, but the assassins have been using them for centuries in a similar context but on a slightly smaller scale. And they're pretty close in terms of dickishness. Who cares if your brain fries? We don't. Now back to level grinding because we need to get our hands on more of these ancient artifacts that have caused everything up to and including nuclear fucking war.

And all that is before 2 ends.

Wait, the data logs are missable, aren't they? Because that would explain a few things.

Yes they are. You have to pay attention to what's happening and get your hands on certain stuff in order to locate/make use of them.

    Spy shit mostly.

It was a carefully crafted escape subplot away from being the perfect prison escape story.

But why bother escaping? The only part of the world they don't control is controlled by the other guys.

And they just want what's in your genes too.

You know what's funny, Uncharted 2 has still not arrived, not that I have a functioning console to play it on but still.

I think the biggest reason I always disappear for months at a time is that when I do come on, no one else is around, so I'm like, eh, I'll check back later. Later ends up being the same time the next day and this goes on for infinity.

    But hello again anyway.
