I am, I am. I've bought recently a 500, I wish I had a 1200 though. And I absolutely love all them obscure Amiga games, even though some got released for DOS.

Customisable, hmmm, not really.

It does have a PCMCIA slot and an IDE interface that the A500 doesn't though. Meaning it is expandable, but nowhere near as much as an A1200.

Yeah, the only thing you can expand with the A500 is the RAM. I so want a 1200 to play Alien Breed Tower Assault. It's my favourite Alien Breed.

Do it, it's good. Even Ubuntu 11.10 will run on that old ass hardware you're trying to get a hold on.

I'd be running it on my laptop that is fairly decent. AMD Athlon X2 1.9GHz dual core, 3GB DDR2 RAM, HD3200 video and 250GB HDD.

600 is decent if you're on a budget, although it'll never run AGA games.

Very tempted to splash out and finally upgrade the drive in my softmodded Xbox so I can load the drive with Amiga ROMs.

It's well worth the effort, the Xbox version is a nice port.

Last time I upgraded a hard drive in an XBOX I only had my desktop, so I couldn't have the guide open and piss around in Xbox HDM. It was a disaster and a nightmare
